Waterbucks claim their territory on the savannah always near water. In natural situations, the waterbucks will graze on matured grass during the day and rest undercover at night. Where they are hunted and their is human pressure the waterbucks come out only at night. Waterbucks live in loose herds, usually divided by gender.
