Lovebirds are popular cage birds for their 'loving' habits. Lovebirds mate for life and the pair spends a great amount of time body to body with beaks touching. There are 6 species of lovebird, all found in Africa. They are approximately 4 inches in length and are predominantly green. Lovebirds eat fruit, seeds, small insects and flower nectar.
