Shrike 2
The shrike, named for its shrieking call, reaches 6 to 10 inches in length. They have
powerful legs, hooked bill and sharp claws. In this photograph a loggerhead shrike is
feeding her young. The shrike is found in parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and North
America.
