Bunting
Buntings, also commonly known as sparrows and finches are small birds. They have plumage
of brown, black and white, some highlighted by brighter colours. Their diet is quite broad,
including seeds, grass, crustaceans and insects. In Greenland the arrival of the bunting is
greeted by much joy, for it marks the beginning of spring for the Inuit. This snow bunting
would be a welcomed sight. Buntings are found in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
