Hobby

The hobby is a small, fierce flying falcon. Reaching only 13 inches in length the hobby is a serious contender to other birds. Taking their flying prey in mid air the hobby will capture swallows, martins, pigeons and even partridges. The hobby has long, pointed wings and grey brown plumage, with white underparts. Hobbies are found in parts of Africa, Asia, and Europe.
