Sorry, No Picture! The Shoebill Stork is distinguished by its very broad bill. The Shoebill is approximately 3 ft in height and has a wingspan of 8.5 ft. Like herons they have long bodies and long legs. They live in marshy habitats and catch frogs and fish in their large bills. The Shoebill Stork is a very shy bird and is found in quiet areas of eastern central Africa, Zambia, Sudan and eastern parts of the Congo, and the Central African Republic. [BM] {FW}
