Heron

The heron is a gorgeous and graceful bird. In flight, the long neck is tucked into the body, the legs trail behind and the wings are beaten with a slow rhythm. When not in flight they can be seen in large colonies roosting in tree tops. These colonies are called heronries, and are often shared by other wading birds. MORE! [BM] {FW}
