Sorry, No Picture! The hellbender is one of three species of giant salamander. Two species are found in North America the third is found in China and Japan. The hellbender can reach lengths as great as 78 cm and is characterized by its soft, slimy skin. The skin falls into folds along the sides of this amphibian. The hellbender has a sinister appearance, with small eyes and wide mouth. It has 4 well developed limbs and a strong paddle-like tail. MORE! [BM] {FW}
