HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Moss Animals

This diverse group includes moss animals which are soft and plant-like, while others are hard, like coral. Each individual animal has a ring of ciliated tentacles. These tentacles are used in the capture of plankton. Moss animals in turn are commonly eaten by sea slugs and sea spiders. This picture shows a Rose Coral, really a Moss Animal. [BM] {EB}
