Weevil (Order Coleoptera Family Curculionidae)

The weevil is commonly called the snout beetle and makes up one of the largest family of the order Coleoptera with some 40,000 species. Most weevils are no more than 6 mm, although several species of weevil exceed 80 mm. They are characterized by long antennae and prominent snout. Most have plain colours. MORE! [BM] {EB}
