Millipede 2
Most millipedes are black or brown in
colour. When disturbed they curl in a tight ball to protect their soft under side. Large tropical species
of millipedes are larger than a golf ball when curled! This colourful millipede was photographed in
Poring, Borneo; it is commonly known as a pill millipede.
