Today 40% of the Mennonite community live in the United States, with the next largest following in the Soviet Union. The Mennonite Church has become well known for their relief work. The Amish are a very interesting sub-group of the Mennonite Church. The Old Order Amish remain separate from their surrounding culture, noticeable through their plain clothes and horse drawn wagons.
