Norse Gods

The Vikings worshipped many gods. Most important among all these gods were Odin, Thor and Frey. Odin, who was also called Woden, is the highest god of all. It is he who is the King of all the Norse gods and goddesses. Myth tells the tale of how Woden gave up his eye so that he might drink from the spring of wisdom, and in turn become the wisest of all the gods. He is depicted as a fearless fighter. [BM] {W2}
