Modern St.Vincent
During the 1900's St.
Vincent & the Grenadines was a self-governing state, closely associated with Great Britain.
In 1979 St. Vincent & the Grenadines became fully independent within the Commonwealth, thus
recognizing Elizabeth II
as chief of state.
