Modern Oman
Oman grew to be the most
powerful state in Arabia by the early 19th century. By the late 19th century much of
Omans
land possessions were lost. In 1958 the very last of Oman's claims of Baluchistan (between
Pakistan & Iran),
the sity-state of Gwadar, was ceded to Pakistan.
