The cultural revival which occured in the late 1800's influenced the political atmosphere in Macedonia. In 1893 the IMRO (International Macedonian Revolutionary Organization) was formed. The IMRO strove to unify all non-Turks. After WWI Macedonia was devided between Greece, Bulgaraia & Yugoslavia. The IMRO fought against Serbian control in Yugoslavia. [BM] {UA}
