As translated the word Baroque means misshapen pearl. In music structure and patterns seemed to blockade the melodies of light song, and replace them with ominous tones of low pitch, then dashing horns blaring, if the bass line is up-moving, down with the melody. Everything was a tradition as though the structure of it all predated man himself. The main development of the time was the Overture.
