Neutrons

A neutron is an atomic particle found in the nucleus, or centre, of an atom. Neutrons do not move and have no charge (i.e. are neutral). A given element has a certain number of protons, but the number of neutrons can vary. For example, oxygen always has eight protons, but it can have eight or ten neutrons. [LM] {CC}
