What are Rocks?
Rock is the term applied to any naturally formed aggregate (clump) of Minerals.
The term includes objects as large as the solid rock of the mantle of the Earth and as small as individual grains of sand.
All Rocks are derived from just three processes and all are classified into three corresponding groups:
