Sorry, No Picture! Piracy has been an issue in computing since diskettes entered on the scene. Software piracy is the unauthorized copying of computer programs. It is very tempting since most program instructions recommend making a backup copy. To combat this programmers have built into some programs copy-protect code. Lately, however, the Software Police have been very active in finding pirates and programmers have now been giving incentives (manuals, upgrades) for people to buy software. [JP] {CU}
