Vitamin B5 - Pantothenic Acid
Pantothenic acid is part of the B complex of vitamins, and is found in meat and fresh vegetables,
grains, and intestinal bacteria. The body converts pantothenic acid to coenzyme A, which has an
important role in the electron transport chain. Lack of pantothenic acid can cause brain deficiency
and numbness in the hands and toes.
