Carbon Dioxide
Carbon dioxide consists of one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms. This gas, which makes
up less than 1% of the atmosphere, is used by all trees and plants to make food to live. When
anything is burned or combusted, carbon dioxide is one of the products. Dry ice is solid carbon
dioxide.
