Pentlandite
Pentlandite is a sulphide containing nickel and iron. It is a light bronze colour, and it occurs in
nature associated with chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite. Pentlandite is the main nickel source mined in
Sudbury, Canada, which produces 70% of the world's nickel. It is also found in South Africa and
in Norway.
