Pectolite (hydrous sodium calcium silicate) is a semi-rare mineral that is colourless, gray, or white. It is found in nature as fibrous masses compacted together. This mineral mainly develops in basalt rock cavities, where it is usually associated with other silicates. Pectolite is found in places such as Ontario, Canada, and Italy.
