Paragasite
Paragasite (complex basic silicate) is a variety of hornblende that is bluish-green or
brown. Its cross-section is shaped like a diamond. This semi-rare mineral occurs in
metamorphic rocks, mainly marble. Paragasite is named after Paragas, Finland, the place it
was discovered; it can also be found in Germany and Sweden.
