Laumontite
Laumontite (hydrated calcium aluminum silicate) can be identified in nature by its powdery
surface, which is caused by the evaporation of water from laumontite into the environment.
Its crystals are usually white, light pink, or light yellow. This mineral is found in
igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock environments. Laumontite can be found in many
places, including the Swiss Alps, France, and California, USA.
