Heulandite
Heulandite (hydrated sodium calcium aluminum silicate) is a fairly common mineral that can
be identified by its crystals that grow parallel to one another. This mineral may be
orangish-red, white, or colourless. It develops in basalt, and can be found with a variety
of other silicates. Places with heulandite masses include Iceland, Italy, and Nova Scotia,
Canada.
