Apophyllite
Apophyllite (hydrous calcium potassium silicate) is a semi-rare mineral that is usually colourless
or a faint shade of yellow, pink, or green. This mineral develops in basalt rock. Localities with
apophyllite include Germany, India, and Mexico. Apophyllite is not commercially used, and is of
interest only to mineralogists.
