Analcime
Analcime (hydrated sodium aluminum silicate) is also called analcite. This very common mineral
may be colourless, gray, white, yellow, or pink. It develops in igneous rock cavities, and
associated minerals include prehnite and calcite. Analcime is located throughout Italy, as well as
in places such as Nova Scotia, Canada, and Australia.
