Erythrite is a hydrous nickel and cobalt arsenate. Its colour ranges from pinkish-blue to rich reddish-purple. It is translucent and fairly soft. This mineral develops from other cobalt-bearing minerals. It can be found in deposits in Morocco and Ontario, Canada.
