Amblygonite
Amblygonite is also called hydrous lithium aluminum phosphate. This fairly common mineral
may be white, yellow, beige, or gray. In nature, it develops in granite that is rich in other
phosphate- and lithium-bearing minerals. It has be mined in South Dakota, USA, and in Brazil.
Amblygonite is exploited for its lithium content.
