Wulfenite (lead molybdate) is a semi-rare mineral that is recognized by its stubby yellow crystals. It develops in nature in lead-rich deposits; common minerals it can be found with include sphalerite and barite. Some places where wulfenite deposits occur are Namibia, Romania, and the southwestern United States. Wulfenite is a source of molybdenum and lead. [LM] {CC} {SS}
