OXIDATED BARNITE MINERAL Inorganic Compounds are found all over the Earth. Examples include Rocks, Minerals and Water. In general, Inorganic Compounds do not contain Carbon, although Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Carbonates and Cyanates are also considered Inorganic. Of the more than 7 million Compounds discovered, only about 1 million are Inorganic. Inorganic Compounds are classified according to the Elements they contain.
