Cryolite
Cryolite (Sodium Aluminum Fluoride) is a white or colourless mineral.
It is found in mineral-rich granite, where it is usually associated with galena and siderite.
Major cryolite deposits occur in Ivigtut, Greenland.
This rare mineral is used in making glazes for pottery.
