Chlorargyrite

Chlorargyrite (silver chloride) is sometimes called cerargyrite. It is a gray mineral that has a waxy appearance. In nature, it is commonly found with acanthite. Chlorargyrite is quite rare, but deposits do occur in Australia, Chile, and Nevada, USA. It has a high silver content, and can be mined as a source of silver. [LM] {CC} {SS}
