Chlorargyrite
Chlorargyrite (silver chloride) is sometimes called cerargyrite. It is a gray mineral that has a waxy
appearance. In nature, it is commonly found with acanthite. Chlorargyrite is quite rare, but
deposits do occur in Australia, Chile, and Nevada, USA. It has a high silver content, and can be
mined as a source of silver.
