HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG The Shape of Life

Over time, one can imagine the natural development of the first organisms. The most simple form is that of a sphere being a natural shape like a bubble. As organisms evolved or perhaps due to gravity, they became more elongated, with an oval (anemone-like) or even cylindrical (worm-like) appearance. Gradually flattening, forming two sides, the bilateral symmetry evident in most higher organisms today takes hold. [NS] {NR}
