Rough Horsetail
Also known as Common Scouring Rush, Rough Horsetail Equisetum
hiemale was used by early Americans to clean pots. It has unbranched
stems unlike those of the Field Horsetail. The fertile stem has a small
pointed spore-filled cone at its tip.
