Showy Orchis Orchis spectabilis grows wild in rich woods of North America. Each plant has two shining leaves and a few flowers on a branching stem. The three sepals and two of the petals are purplish-pink and the central petal (labellum) is white and is prolonged into a spur underneath. [CH] {GW}
