Yellow Mandarin
Yellow Mandarin Disporum lanuginosum flowers in
May and June in rich woods. It has branching stems and
parallel-veined leaves that are joined to the stem
without a stalk (sessile). Clusters of one to three
flowers develop at the tips of the branches and they have
yellowish-green sepals and petals. The smooth red fruits
are not good to eat.
