Glaucous Death Camas courtesy of Paul Slichter White Camass Zygadenus glaucus grows in bogs and beaver meadows. It is about half a metre tall with grass-like leaves growing from an onion-like bulb. The branching stem has flowers at the tips. As sepals and petals look alike, the flowers appear to have six whitish petals that are purplish-green on the outer surface. This plant is poisonous.
