Red or Purple Trillium Trillium erectum is another of the thirty or so species of Trillium that grow in North America and Asia. The flower is a deep red colour and smaller than that of the White Trillium. It is said to have an unpleasant smell. Red Trillium can be found growing with White Trilliums in the woodlands of eastern North America. [CH] {GW}
