False Asphodel Tofieldia glutinosa is a marsh plant that varies in size from a few centimetres to half a metre, depending on where it is growing. Its leaves are like a tuft of stiff grass and clumps of small flowers develop on top of a long stem which is rough and sticky. The flowers are whitish and the fruits are brownish-red. [CH] {NW}
