Amaryllis or Belladonna Lily Amaryllis belladonna is a South African plant with large trumpet-shaped flowers on top of a long stout stem. The flowers grow up from a bulb before the leaves appear and there are many species which range in colour from red through shades of pink to white. Amaryllis likes a warm climate but it may be grown indoors in cooler countries. [CH] {FW}
