Arctic Cotton Grass

ARCTIC COTTON GRASS Arctic Cotton Grass Eriophorum is a member of the Sedge Family that forms a large part of the vegetation in the Arctic tundra. It is able to flourish in areas that are too cold for trees. This is a perennial plant with narrow leaves and flowering heads with dense bristles that persist as long white hairs in the fruiting stage.
