Yellow-eyed Grass
Yellow-eyed Grass Xyris montana is a bit like a small rush which grows in
peat bogs and in wet sandy ground. Creeping stems underground send up stiff
flower stalks topped by knobs of little yellow flowers with three sepals and
three petals. The leaves are long and grass-like.
