Pineapple
Pineapple Ananas comosus is a tropical American
species that is cultivated for its juicy fruit. Each plant
bears a single pineapple that develops from a spike of
flowers. The flower spike on a short stalk is surrounded
by a rosette of stiff pointed leaves.
