Passion-flower
Passion Flowers Passiflora have a fringe-like crown of
filaments inside the petals and inside these are the five
stamens and three spreading styles and stigmas. The name
relates to Christ's Passion with the filaments representing
the crown of thorns and other parts having symbolic
significance.
