Order Theales
There are 18 families in the large Order Theales which are grouped together
because their flowers are built on the same plan. Some species are trees
like the one shown here and others are small herbs. They grow in tropical
and more temperate areas of the world. The shrub that provides us with the
tea we drink belongs to Order Theales.
