Camellia Camellia japonica is an evergreen shrub that
bears beautiful waxy fragrant flowers. It is an Asian
species and is cultivated as an ornamental plant where
conditions are sufficiently warm and moist. The wild plant
has red flowers but white and pink varieties have been
developed.
