Climbing Nightshade, Bittersweet Solanum dulcamara is a slender trailing vine, originally from Eurasia but now widespread. Some of the leaves have two small lobes at the base of the blade. The flowers have five violet-blue petals that become swept back and the bright yellow stamens protrude like a beak. The fruits are clusters of bright red berries. [CH] {GW}
